External Sites

We are very happy to assist you in any way we can. Our interest is in sharing the teachings and the principles of the Bahá'í Faith. The search for truth is upheld as an individual undertaking, as we have no clergy in the Bahá'í Faith.

We realize that not everyone learns the same way, therefore, we offer to assist you in the following ways:

Introductory presentation

As a first step, we encourage you to participate in a short introductory presentation about the Bahá'í Faith. The presentation can take place over a cup of coffee or tea in a local coffee shop. Appointments are made to fit your schedule. You can also review the introductory page on this web site.

Monthly devotionals and discussion meetings

Monthly discussion meetings provide safe and welcoming environment

where you can join in discussion of various topics related to spirituality and the Bahá'í Faith and get your questions answered. They also provide the opportunity to meet the Baha'is in your area. Please check the upcoming events page for the date of the next meeting.

A study circle consists of a small group of people that study the Sacred Texts and practice with a trained tutor, and participate in activities which foster love and fellowship and service to the community inspired through course study. Special events

We host and participate in variety of special events. These events include Holy Days celebrations, devotional gatherings, children programs, and other special observances that are open to the public. They provide an opportunity to learn and to join in fellowship. Please check the upcoming events page for the list of upcoming activities.

Daily prayers and meditation

One of the best way to understand how Baha'is use daily prayers and meditation to grow spiritually is to try it for yourself. For next two weeks:

  1. Prayers page of this web site contain beautiful prayers. Read some of these prayers each day. Read them slowly and open yourself to the spirit of God.
  2. Try to read and think about one or two of the passages from the The Hidden Words of Bahá'u'lláh every morning and every evening.

Becoming a Bahá'í

At some point in the process of finding out more about the Baha'i Faith, an individual will come to believe that Bahá'u'lláh is the Messenger of God for our time. The next step is to become a member of the Bahá'í community. You do so by completing a declaration card or an online form, which will be processed by a Local Spiritual Assembly. This form reaffirms one's belief in Bahá'u'lláh and one's willingness to obey His laws and His Institutions. The Bahá'í Faith has no priests or clergy, nor rituals or sacraments. There are no fees or ceremonies associated with enrollment.

There is never a charge for anything. Please contact us to let us know how we can assist you.
