since been revised and is still one of the best introductory
books about the Faith.

Daily
prayers and meditation
One
of the best way to understand how Baha'is use daily prayers

For next two weeks:
-
Prayers
page of this web site contain beautiful prayers. Read
some of these prayers each day. Read them slowly and open
yourself to the spirit of God.
-
Reciting
the Verses of God: contains selected passages from
the
Writings of Bahá'u'lláh
on various spiritual subjects. They are organized by subject
and by date.
Try to read and think about one or two of the passages
every morning and every evening.
Becoming
a Bahá'í
At
some point in the process of finding out more about the
Baha'i Faith, an individual will come to believe that Bahá'u'lláh
is the Messenger of God for our time. The next step is to
become a member of the Bahá'í community. You
do so by completing a declaration cardwhich will be processed
by a Local Spiritual Assembly. This form reaffirms one's
belief in Bahá'u'lláh
and one's willingness to obey His
laws and His Institutions.
The Bahá'í Faith has no priests or clergy,
nor rituals or sacraments. There are no fees or ceremonies
associated with enrollment.
There
is never a charge for anything. Please contact
us to let us know how we can assist you.
